This 25mm fan mount is an exciting new product developed by our Team Drivers to give them the edge on the race track and now can give you that edge too!. During our testing, we have found that by adding a cooling fan we saw a reduction of nearly 40 degrees (F) in motor temperature after an 8 minute run which can help with less motor fade due to heat and also extend the life of your motor. Extensive R & D went into selecting the most durable material and manufacturing process ensuring we provide the highest quality part to our customers. By going to a 25mm fan, there is no need for modification of the fan case for clearance. Just bolt it on to the mount and hook it up to your receiver and it’s ready to go. When compared with a 30MM fan, we saw less than a 10 degrees (F) difference between the two making the hassle of using the larger fan not worth it as long as a high quality 25MM fan is used. (WTF fans are our go to!) When installing the mount, please make sure that there is at least 0.5mm of clearance between the mount and the battery. Also we recommend using (4) M3 X 12mm button head screws for assembly. (Fan & Screws not included)
